Hi, I have just started a "news producing" internship in a top 25 market. I am struggling to find my niche in the newsroom. They have me writing stories, but I am not sure what they expect. Any advice on making a good impression and standing out would be appreciated. |

A bunch of us were just talking about this issue a couple weeks ago and there was a lot of good advice. Also check medialine.com and do a search there because this comes up frequently there too.
