I'm interested in any info on the following stations.
1. WBBH, Fort Myers FL
2. WHBQ, Memphis TN
3. WHNS, Greenville SC
4. KTAL, Shreveport LA
5. WDAF, Kansas City MO
6. WPTZ, Plattsburgh NY
They all have some type of anchor/reporter opening listed. Does anyone have any info on whether the positions have been filled? Station's ratings? Station morale? Pay for the position? What about the area's quality of life? Any input would be GREATLY appreciated! |

they're starting some new shows..its an LMA with the ABC affiliate. 2 newsrooms in one...horrible place to work. If you start on NBC and they don't like you, they'll shove you on ABC..ABC is the bastard stepchild of Waterman. They are in a dead heat with the CBS affiliate..CBS wins most of the demos though. The cost of living has skyrocketed in the Ft Myers area..can't buy a small house for less than $200,000. Growing area which is nice...LOTS of retirees...old person's place. I wouldn't go to WBBH....
