God - if we were all this concerned over our jobs as opposed to what kind of manager Nancy is or was...imagine how much better our industry would be? Folks...this is what we decided to do for a living...no one made us work in television news. If you weren't doing your job...I bet you thought Nancy was hard to work for. You know why? Because she expected a lot...she expected you to tell the story in a compelling way, she expected you to have the facts right, she expected you to know what the hell you were talking about. I've been in this business for over 17 years and would take a newsroom full of "Nancys" in a heartbeat...maybe our industry would be in better shape. |

A newsroom full of Nancy's?? Yeah, as long as PROZAC was distributed to all of us to deal with the constant mood swings.
Let's put this to rest. Nancy was fired. She didn't resign. Anyone with a brain can see that. Who resigns with a week left in the book and leaves the same day?
