...is that CNN goes to outsiders for their documentaries. There are still a few excellent journalists there (though the number is dwindling) who are perfectly capable of producing and reporting incredible long-form pieces, yet they are so often farmed out, to outsiders. Makes no sense. |

I just looked up Soros' own website (The Open Society Institute). They state that they paid a fellowship for the documentary:
"Based on the investigative reporting of a Soros Justice Media Fellow, a new CNN documentary reveals how profound flaws in forensic science have sent innocent people to prison. Reasonable Doubt: Can Crime Labs Be Trusted?"
