What's up in Austin? Are there any anchor jobs open right now? Main, Weekend, Mornings? Thanks for the help. |

all the anchor chairs are taken-at least for now.
KEYE is chcok full of anchors right now. They just realigned the morning anchor lineup. PLUS cbs 42/keye news coverage you can count on has another ex-kvue/kxan main anchor riding out a non-compete.
KVUE just filled the chair vacated by the aformentioned anchor now at KEYE. Mornings and Weekends are stable.
KXAN shows no signs of switcihing the morning lineup. After that on weekdays it's just a bastard child 4pm and 6, & 10, w/the 6&10 anchors trading turns on the 4. Their weekend lineup seems stable. An under utilized Jim Bergamo also gives KXAN a strong male on the bench.
KTBC/FOX-7 has had a new main anchor team in place less than a year. I think they are all but stuck with them. Their morning tea, seems to be back in the game. Unsure where the wekeend team stands.
