I worked at WOAY in 1987-88. Took a pay cut from selling shoes and made more mistakes in the first six months than at any time in my life and I loved it!!
Get off your ass and go do the job and tell me what you think five, ten or fifteen years later.
People I worked with there moved on to Miami, Cleveland, Charlotte, Phoenix, Philadelphia and Kansas City in their third career moves. They never would have done that if they didn't start in Oak Hill.
p.s. WVVA beat us in the ratings but we kicked their ass in softball. Plus, it's connected to a bowling alley. Free shoe rentals for everyone. Roll with it.
