Topic Name: KOIN - Salamone is gone! Message Name: Not Very Good Date Posted: 05/22/2005 In Reply To: How is Dan DeRoos doing at KOIN, Is he really top 25 material??? Message: I have visited the Portland area enough times and worked in three different top 30 markets to say this. For the size market it is, Portland television news isn't very good. It's dull, it's sleepy and with a few exceptions, the talent is average. KOIN was the hardest to watch that's for sure.
