The KPHO Promo is simply the same as the bs tactics that Faux News uses all the time. That's why Criquifan loves the tactics: they're clearly biased -- trying to smear 12 News.
If I were 12 News, I would threaten to sue for character defamation. |

You think mentioning Lin Sue Cooney's name in a promo is grounds for a character defamation suit? What if Dana says he likes Cooney? Isn't that promoting the competition?
I give KPHO credit for cutting to the chase regarding Howard Dean's recent visit to the Valley - the fact that The Guv was noticeably absent, citing a "scheduling conflict." Ha.
Playing to liberals, running with CNN-Newsweek-60 Minutes Wednesday type of administration-bashing stories in this market is simply bad business, given how the state voted last November.
Sweeps wars. Gotta love 'em, that's all.
