She appears to be thinner than Kelly Clarkson or Fantasia..I agree with earlier posters that neither Bo nor her will have an appeal out of their type of music..

Carrie is a pretty girl with a nice voice, but she lacks the versatility of Kelly, or even Fantasia for that matter.
She definitely had some performances that should've landed her in the bottom three, but the strong southern/country block has kept her strong all season. In fact, I don't remember Kelly ever being in the bottom two during her season (things were done a little differently) and neither was Fantasia.
If Carrie were brunette, she could be Kelly's cousin. They have somewhat similar features, in my opinion. And yes, they are a tad "thicker". But so is Fantasia (and Alicia Keys and Britney Spears).
Carrie is pleasant and commercial enough that I wouldn't mind seeing her win, although I think Bo is more appealing from a performance standpoint.
Kelly is, and always will be, THE American Idol (although a recent EW interview reported she won't do any more appearances related to the show). And she had "it" from the start, even the early rounds. If you saw her performance of "Respect" or "Natural Woman" her performance ability is undeniable, if a little unpolished. And I realized she would be unbeatable after nailing "Stuff Like That There" during big band week. Hers are the only performances I can still remember from all four seasons, save for a few of Tamyra's, Mario's "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" and Constantine's "Bohemian Rhapsody".
Yes, die hard Idol fan here. And yes, I did geek out when Star Wars came out.
