In Reply To: That story involving the high school student was reported out of Denver. I know, because I originally saw it in a long package form on the CBS Evening News. If it's such "hideous reporting," perhaps you should also be blasting Channel 5 for running it during their network broadcast? But I guess you know more than the "hideous reporters" at the national level. BTW, if you want to talk "low" -- how about the story Channel 5 is airing next week where Kent Dana takes a polygraph test, and answers "hard-hitting" questions about whether he really liked working with Lin Sue. That's plain dirty. So if you insist on continuing to fling criticism, why not aim at a place where it will actually stick?
Message: All you've seen in the promo. How silly to judge a news story about polygraph tests as "low" or "dirty" based on a single question about a significant aspect of the reporter's background. Have you ever watched a polygraph test performed? Such questions are routine. So get off your high horse and relax a bit. Every news station in the valley has run its share of promos during ratings meant to lure, shock, titilate, or scare viewers into tuning in. And your station is just as guilty.
