Koin staffers can reconnect their cable TV in the newsroom and watch the competition once in a while to see if they've missed anything. When that memo went out (can't watch the competition) -- many of us realized KOIN's ND was a complete idiot and wouldn't last long here. I guess Albuquerque news just doesn't work in Portland. Now the question is: How long will it take KOIN to recover from this New Mexico-sized disaster? |

There's still some dust bunnies and grease stains that remain at KOIN, we'll just have to wait and see how long Kim Montour will let them sit. KOIN isn't getting their station back, it's still for sale, remember? That's assuming a backroom deal hasn't already been done. Sheriff Salamone totally blew this one. He may have been a shining star in the New Mexico sky but it's apparent he didn't do a lick of homework on the Portland market and assumed his KRQE plan was the only plan. Hey Dan, it's cloudy, rainy, and wet in PDX...don't get wet! Too late! Montour has a herculean task on her hands and with the impending sale things must be very difficult for the staff there. Take solace in the fact you won't have to see those handsome devils Lipoff and Salamone roaming the halls anymore. Morons be gone! Snap! and just like that they disappear...
