If the ratings slump is traceable to anyone, I'd say it's the departure of Chuck George. Wes Hohenstein just doesn't compare in the personality department. Word on this board earlier this week was that Orelon Sidney had left CNN. Maybe they could lure her back. As for the anchors, I like Khambrell Marshall, but Sarah Allen isn't anything special. She's certainly capable, but they need someone with warmth and energy ... someone like Dominique Sachse or Pauline Chiou. Don Armstrong has been in the anchor chair before ... and that did not last long. |

Sara Allen seems to have potential, but the hair flip absolutely does have to go. She looks like a little girl trying to play grownup anchor woman.
She needs an updated, sophisticated hairstyle.
But, as in2txtv said, what KPRC really needs is for weather guy Chuck George to return.
