Topic Name: CBS Evening news going soft? Message Name: Yes, It Has... Date Posted: 05/20/2005 In Reply To: Not! Bob Schieffer has done an outstanding job in rebuilding the show's credibility. I'd say that the CBS Evening News has improved greatly since Mr. Rather and his ego took a powder. Bob is an seasoned journalist who also shows a humnan side. CBS should have made the switch years ago. Message: ...improved. It's much more watchable and I feel more up-to-date on our world at the end.
