First of all, "stunningly, beautifully fresh and young" is a bit of overkill, don't you think? I'll give you the young part, but that's not much of an accomplishment. She's a pretty girl. She's certainly not stunning and I doubt most people would say she's beautiful. She's thick around the middle and dumb as a box of malted milk balls. Seriously, this girl is one of the great dumbasses of her time. She's completely devoid of any personality whatsoever and has zero stage presence. She might be a very nice girl, but she's definitely nothing special. There were several times this season when I thought she should have been in the bottom three due to inconsistent and extremely boring performances. Kelly and Fantasia were never boring. Carrie might have a decent country music career, but there's no way she'll cross over into pop. She has absolutely no edge. |

First let me say that I am no fan of Carrie's. She's boring. But it infuriates me to read someone saying she's not beautiful because she's "thick around the middle." She's a lovely girl and has a body much more like the average teenager than Paris Hilton. I don't think she's the best singer in the competition but it's not because she doesn't wear a size 2. No wonder women have eating disorders.
