The first segments from two recent shows.
If you have examples of package writing or any special reports you produced, include them.
I rarely have found a news director who wants to watch weather, sports or your kicker on a resume tape.
The segments should include your show open up to the first tease.
And believe it or not, the first tease will carry a lot of weight.
Very important: In your cover letter, explain what it is they are watching.
