Topic Name: Sweeps Pieces Message Name: Yes...and No Date Posted: 05/19/2005 In Reply To: feedback wanted: do your stations re-run sweeps pieces from your late news in the am? Message: Many of the stations I've seen get more mileage out of sweeps pieces from the previous evening's late newscast by re-airing in morning news. What's it hurt? There can't be a heckuva lot of repeat viewing. Re-airing sweeps pieces from 5 or 6 would be riskier.
