Your market placement won't affect where you end up in your next job. Your abilities will. If you are good enough...and your tape is good enough...you can end up in market 20 or higher. If you feel you still need work, then aim for a market between 100 and 150.
I know someone who made a jump from morning weather in market 143 to morning weather in market 3. Anything is possible. |

Please stop focusing on numbers.
Market numbers are not a measure of worth or success. Make your next job move to a city/station where the job is "right for you." That may be a very low market number or a number not far from your current one.
Don't let numbers distort your view of yourself, your job, your worth, responsibility or salary.
