Don't work in Cleveland (used to), now I'm at a Fox station on the west coast and I can tell you that Idol has only been a late news lead-in once this book.
You can't use that excuse for good numbers in late news.
Every network has at least one blockbuster lead-in night. The real difference maker for Fox stations has been House, not Idol.
