I'll admit I thought it was ballsy when I heard they were taking undercover cameras inside Austin schools, but the end result was weak. The story was short and had little detail. We didn't get to hear the exchanges between school staffers and the KXAN crew when they were caught. We weren't told what happened either. The tease before the 10p news also indicated we'd learn why "AISD doesn't want you to see this story." That never happened. As the subject line says, this could have been a good story ... but instead it looked like it was slapped together in about an hour.
