I posted something about this before and it got pulled for some reason, but here goes again...
WBTV won all five nights at 11 p.m. last week, and they've locked up the book this month for the first time in a long, long time (decade or more?).
WSOC still dominates at 5 and 6 but they've got to be worried that they're not just losing the 11, but getting soundly beat. They won by a couple points as recently as February. |

for a couple of reasons. First, niether 9 or 3 are doing anything different. 9's banging the crime beat and 3 sucks all around.
If it was the product, 9 wouldn't be kicking 3's ass from 5-6:30 every night.
However, I can't imagine 9 liking this book whatsoever--considering ABC's doing so well and SOC's, well, not. Maybe people are realizing that when Walker leaves, they'll be left with dittzy, old Faubian and Harold Johnson. Who wants to watch that crap anyway? Maybe they're checking out the competition as preparation for his departure.
