In Reply To: Newzybabe... No, I don't think Bill Walker stepping down has impacted SOC's ratings because he's STILL THERE. I think an anchor has to actually leave first before viewers notice and turn off. Next book, sure, it'll make a difference. And you can say all the research gobbledygook you want, but jumping from getting 1's and 2's at times to consistently over an 8 means that something's going on besides WBTV finally reaping the benefits of CBS lead-ins. Face it, there's now actual competition at 11 instead of outright dominance by the big 9. If that makes you bitter and angry at WBTV I'm sorry.
Message: So someone please explain to me how WBTV has been managing to beat channel nine during the 5 a.m. hour on a consistent basis during the book? I don't think they're winning the hour...but they have been getting the best of channel nine at times. And it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the 11:00 show. Sometimes that's good and 3 loses...sometimes it's bad and 3 wins. What is going on?
