Forget the higher ups- what makes you feel good about your work? Is it making the lead, getting it right, convicting the cheat, having your peeers agree that you have done good stories? On any given day all of these validate the experience.
Enter awards competitions for yourself and if you win be proud alone. Who cares what anyone else thinks but you!
There is a lot to be said for people who still try, still care and still aspire to build our craft. |
