A mistake, absolutely. A big one.
But, talk about the proverbial pot calling the kettle black. Bush says this damages our standing in the world? Which standing would that be? The one that W and his gang of clowns have executed, put in a coffin, and buried?
The bigger picture here: the world is ready to believe such a story (Qu'ran, toilet) because this would be a transgression that would not surprise anyone. We've demonstrated our Bush-bred arrogance and lack of humility over and over and over again recently. No excuse for shoddy journalism, of course. But, Holy Moses, if this isn't the definition of hypocritical, I don't know what is. |

Should have posted a couple threads down. Didn't notice.
Oh well, maybe this starts a new thread. BTW, the Pentagon complains "people died" because of a false story.
Are they kidding? WMD, anyone? How many have died directly and indirectly as a result of the manipulating and the lying by this government?
