3 could get even bigger numbers in the am's if they used Scot more. They should make it like Today and have Scot and Rachel host the show and not do the same stale news have one of the anchors do a 1 minute news update at the top of the hour and then have Scot entertain and do weather and traffic and have the other anchor out in the field reporting. WFSB is wasting Scot's talent. |

..I'd like to see him as more of an Al Roker, sort of a light entertainer/clown who does quick weather reports on what it's like outside now, and maybe what it'll be for the day.
No one (I know) really takes him seriously as a meteorolgist (like Dixon, DePrest, Maxon, DR. Mel, etc), but watching him do the camped up humor is more of a good morning formula for them for am's and for the viewer in a rush to work and school.
