A friend of mine in PR wants to know...
Given the controversy with taxpayer-funded VNR's, some stations seem to be throwing the baby out with the bathwater and putting on a total ban of ALL VNR's, no matter where they come from or who paid for them.
Even if the script and source can be quickly vetted.
Is your newsroom doing this?
And what is your newsroom's position on b-roll pkg's and SMT's? I'm doing an informal survey and any responses would be very helpful! Thank you.
