Hemmer is obviously angry, but, by speaking to the media as he did, he is making a good case for his not appearing on the air at CNN again. He should have said "no comment" and taken the high road on this, regardless of the fact that he's bein shown the door or demoted. Unfortunately, though he was good as Paula Zahn's sidekick, there is something rather unauthoritative about his presence as an equal co-anchor on American Morning, although he is bright and very smooth. Given his history with CNN it's less than classy of that less than classy cable channel to tret Hemmer this way, but they are obviously clueless and seem to be dead set on Wolf Blitzer being their star for the future. Sales of No Doz are certain to tank. |

Hemmer is very good and is blessed with a very youthful appearance. But I think he looks too young (at 40) to be at the anchor desk and his very youthful appearance hurts his credibility.
When he's 60, he'll look 40 but it unfortunately hurts his credibility now.
