I can't and won't tune in at 5pm to watch some mindless news about a house on fire 2 counties down from me and that their little one way street is closed.
I don't care.
tell me in 30 seconds the people are fine, or misplaced, they need help donate here.
Learn to work WITH the internet, not against it.
I had about a week and a half without local news, and I found out I missed nothing.
I got the local weather forecast online anytime I wanted it.
I got to choose wich news stories I read online. I filtered local news down to what I cared about.
In the end I felt like I missed nothing from the local news |
