Topic Name: 30-Somethings let's talk Message Name: It's true...... Date Posted: 05/17/2005 Message: Agree with previous poster.. there are no rules anymore. When I got into the business, I was also told to work my way up in market size and by mid 30's I could go top 10. Now I see mid 20's getting those jobs. But no rules anymore. I left business, came back, went top 10. If you kick butt, you'll get the job. Are younger journalists getting the jobs? You bet. But that doesn't mean you can't too...
