It would be great experience for him and he might even have a chance to grow into a better anchor. He's smooth and glib now, but there never seems to be anything substantial going on behind the pretty face. WH work is grueling, fascinating, and educating. A few years in the trenches there could actually carve that manikin into a real journalist and future network anchor. |

He should take the WH job with CNN now, and when his contract expires, try to stay with the WH on one of the networks and get some street cred. In a couple of years, he'd be a great fill in for Brian Williams, etc.
