Isn't Hemmer's contract up, soon? It's no secret that Jon Klein isn't too fond of him, so perhaps he's being offered some shit assignment to force him out. |

It would be great experience for him and he might even have a chance to grow into a better anchor. He's smooth and glib now, but there never seems to be anything substantial going on behind the pretty face. WH work is grueling, fascinating, and educating. A few years in the trenches there could actually carve that manikin into a real journalist and future network anchor.
