Just wondering if any reporters out there have any tips for doing liveshots? I don't have a problem doing weather or anchoring, but when it comes to liveshots it is a different story. |

in weather will be more of a help than anchoring.
The trick is to know your subject inside and out. Knowledge = Comfort..
Comfort = Improved delivery.
Try getting rid of a script.. work from notes. Notes will give you the bullet points you need.. and will force you to relay them in a style that is your own. A viewer can sense sincerity, which translates to trust in what you report.
If that fails, make believe your sitting in a bar and telling your buds the story over a couple of Buds.
