you're saying I should forget about news as a career because I was told I would have to go to a smaller market? When every reporter and anchor at this station has come from smaller markets...and most have been here since the 80's early 90's. Noone here now or that I know of in the past was given an on air position here a year after college. I don't think that just because I can't get a break at this station, shuts the door for me at all. But maybe that's just me being young and naive...... |

stop listening to these bitter people! Your ND thinks you need more seasoning before you can be onair in his market. He is telling you..to go to a smaller market to get more experience...and if you are any good...you will move back up! Its that simple! You are looking way to much into it.
No one should forget news as a career..unless you really suck.
