Could it be that because this is her first time as an ND it has become more than she can handle? Maybe as one poster said she is overwelmed and so has depended on people to help her get a handle on things there but sadly may has chosen the wrong people. A new job with all that responsibility can be a lot to handle for the first time. Maybe she just needs some time to iron out the kinks and see things clearly. A new ND will always have the sharks palying "friendly" at their door to score points, but I agrre with those who say if you are so unhappy there leave. There are plenty out of there who will be happpy to take your place. |

experienced, qualified news director..the only people who don't like him are people who cannot cut it with him..
Second...when Schwaid became 1st time ND he DID NOT listen to newsroom gossips ..he considered the source and judged people based on his experience with them not what people said about them..AND when he interivews people for a job he is thorough his interviewing skills are professional unlike your ND.
Perhaps she'll learn BUT Philly is and should NOT be a learning ground...Schwaid got his ND experience in two other places before coming back to Philly ..and kicking some serious butt.
You should be happy he did not get that job...he'd clean house because there are only a few people at FOX 29 that he'd keep.
