Here's what I know:
KWTX is the long-time market leader. They just spent a bunch of money on a new set.
Has the best look by far. Morale has taken a hit in recent couple of years. Got a new news director less than a year ago after the long-time ND was pushed out by the GM, although the old ND still works there on the website.
KCEN is long-time number two. They're losing their female evening anchor who is being replaced by the morning anchor. A lot of internal angst. Operates strangely with studio in Bruceville and reporters in 3 bureaus (Waco, Temple and Killeen).
KXXV is usually 3rd, but in recent ratings periods has pulled into second some. Usually has pretty good morale, but has to work with a smaller staff than the other two.
I hope that helps some. |

I've always heard they had a smaller staff. So how small are we talking about? I know 10 has about 6 reporters (not counting anchors) and about the same number of photogs So how many is 25 working with? What about production staff?
