We didn't want to give the BS attention. But we're sick of it. We all know who is writing this shi*. We know its the people that have been fired or finally nailed for all the crap they have been getting away with. Doesn't anyone else find the timing funny? We're talking about it. But not because we buy it. HG isn't bad. Maybe still learning but a good person, more importantly a good ND. And, who are the idiots that think Schwaid would be good. You obviously didn't work in Philly when he was here. Stop the BS. Especially you mapquest, we all know who you are. |

Finally, the hard workers who realize HG's trying to do what she was brought here to do are speaking up. Everyone knows who the cynical, mean, nay-sayers are. I hope you never have to really work for anything in your lives, because then even you might realize it's not all about being super nice and letting people get away with the crap they've been allowed to get away with for years. It's about doing a job, being responsible and having a set goal you all work towards. After working in a lot of newsrooms with a lot of people, I'm glad to be working with a fair ND who finally gets that. If you're not happy here... get out! There are enough hard-working people who are and who don't need you to bring them down.
And if you think you're going to ever find a truly competitive newsroom with better people than this one... good luck... you have a big surprise ahead of you.
