Who can deny this? They ran with this story b/c they want to hurt the Bush administration and hurt America's image. PEOPLE DIED! OK, can we think about this...people died because Newsweek said that US guards flushed the Koran down a toilet...whoops, never really happened. Too late now, sorry. |

Who can deny this? I will.
Some of the most positive words I've read about Bush's handling of Iraq have been in Newsweek magazine. While countless columnists have relentlessly bashed Bush's policies, Farheed Zakaria has been one of the few moderate voices to suggest that Bush just might be doing the right thing. And let's not forget that George Will, hardly a bastion of liberal bias, has a column in Newsweek as well.
One does not need to have a liberal or conservative bias to make an egregious error. One needs only to be sloppy and irresponsible.
Perhaps you should actually read the magazine so you won't appear to be speaking from your ass.
