I noticed Indy powerhouse 'THR continues to post a few openings -- one of them I'm interested in -- exec producer job. I've heard mixed things about this shop -- definitely high-quality news and solid owners but word on the street is ND Jaques Natz is hardcore and abrasive with workers. One insider tells me they call him "Napoleon" in the newsroom because of his lack of people skills. True? This worries me. |

Of all the shops in Indy, it's the best. Very high quality news, great team and the owners do spend money because they realize it takes money to make money. Usually first on scene if it involves chopper as theirs has pad on site with pilot on stand by. As for Jacques ... he is hard line but fair I think. I have heard him referred to as Jacques Nazi but not found that to be true. Actually, the asst. ND, Carolyn Williams, deals mostly with reporters. If serious about moving to Indy market, WTHR is the shop to work at.
