Channel 4 is in need of a PR firm that can overhaul its public image. Some of the things that have happened aren't its fault. Many are. None the less the end result is a public smear across its former reputation. Viewers could very well think the family they relied on for truth and friendship has now grown mean spirited, cold hearted, and not worthy of their trust. Actions always speak louder than words. Channel 4 should take corrective action. |

The truth is no station can stay on top all the time. Even if a station has number one rated newscasts for years.. eventually they drop to number two or three. It's usually a combination of factors. But quick or sweeping moves by impatient greedy managers can start the ball rolling..then it's all downhill from there. It's rare that you can stop the downward momentum.. because more often than not a competitor is watching and learning what NOT to do. Good luck to any station that's in a downward spiral. The main cause is usually pilot error.
