kntv has a new building... that did a lot to improve their programmming...
they just started paying their photogs more than $100 a day in the last five years...sounds about right for the sixth market huh?
and all the millions they spent... can their signal still be seen all over the bay area... i think not... how many tens of thousands of people in the bay area that used to see nbc on channel 4 now can't see nbc at all...
do you really believe anyone wants to see kevin o'brian back in s f??? maybe fred zender... or ron aker.... or don mcquaig... but kevvie??? again i think not...
while we keep arguing and posturing, cable will silently replace broadcast and the internet will be our news source with every amerikan citizen having retinal implants recording images, aural taps for audio, and a vid/aud a/b mini plug in our neck for output...
if you like tho, keep blaming it on people who won't change, lazy old farts, and malcontents... management will like you better when they show you the door... kids... keep your day job |

There was talk about a relocation of the KNTV tower to the San Bruno mountain but it never happen. Construction has been stalled and there is really no definite date for its completion. There was something on the KNTV website about it being completed sometime this summer but only time will tell.
