What a bunch of insignificant, petty children you all are. I know you are children because you think who beats who on some dumb story actually means something in the scope of life. Every station in Miami does the same thing. There is no news content. It's all swill. It all boils down to ego. The management at 4 trying to top 7 who's trying to top 4 who's trying to top 10 who's trying to top 6....blah, blah, blah.
When the first priority is who can get to a story first, content is secondary. Newsflash people! News is not a contest. It's coverage for the community. But it'll never happen here because no one has enough balls to stand up to any manager and say so. |

But anyone with the so-called "balls" to tell a manager that it's not about being first, will be carrying those balls around in a back-pack looking for a new job.
That's Miami, baby. Look at what the market watches: Kamal on "fairy dust" spinning yarns about his arrest. If he were Pinnochio, his nose would now be as long as the lower appendage he purports to have.
Anybody with any integrity over at ten probably is feeling pretty slimey about now. Bottom line:it all boils down to the greenbacks:
You put asses in the seats with drivel like that, the ratings go up, the station charges more for advertising and the revenue rolls in.
