I will second that...
WFOR 4 has the best assignment editors in this market "HANDS DOWN"
No, I'm not part of the station's assignment desk...but I can say everyone on that desk is over the top on getting the story, and beating the competition.
They are constantly under stress. Really good people.

What a bunch of insignificant, petty children you all are. I know you are children because you think who beats who on some dumb story actually means something in the scope of life. Every station in Miami does the same thing. There is no news content. It's all swill. It all boils down to ego. The management at 4 trying to top 7 who's trying to top 4 who's trying to top 10 who's trying to top 6....blah, blah, blah.
When the first priority is who can get to a story first, content is secondary. Newsflash people! News is not a contest. It's coverage for the community. But it'll never happen here because no one has enough balls to stand up to any manager and say so.
