It's on a leash, and has been for quite some time. What TV presents as "news" is really an informational and pictoral illusion created by the established powers which include, of course, big media. Hyperfocus on celebrity criminal trials, freak side shows, sex and violence helps distract public attention from what's really going on in society: consolidation and centralizationg of government power and big business, the move toward a one-world government in which ruling elites control the economy, and Amercia's evolution to a socialist state. Keep your eye on the ball, sleuths. |

Don't hold your breath. After the recent courthouse shootings/mass murder there, Atlanta law enforcement officials were exposed as laughably incompetent. This entire Wayne Williams redux sounds like the chief trying to divert the focus of attention to a fantasyland prayer that they'll find a KKK member as the "real killer" and thus make him, the chief, into a local hero. Fat chance.
