whoever says anything good about the q-c obviously hasn't spent much time elsewhere. it's a miserable market filled with miserable "lifers" who were constantly trying to bring down those of us who were only there for the short-term.

csj1994 obviously has some lingering issues going on here...preventing him/her from giving you good information that is helpful.
most of the other posters are right on...
KWQC - big elephant in the room. ratings winner. new news director within the past month is making changes which were long overdue. probably getting a little stale over time because of success.
WQAD - always trying really hard to beat KWQC. good group of folks that work hard.
WHBF - cheap ownership that destroyed a one-time powerhouse.
Fox - don't know much about them...but doesn't look good.
Bottom line...a good place to go for that first or second gig...learn some things from the veterans, and get some good experience. i would stay away from whbf and fox. but kwqc and wqad would be fine.
the area is not a happenin' place for singles. and it's not very diverse either. more family oriented. but make friends with your young co-workers and hang out with them and you will be fine.
