We keep hearing these posts about NBC coming back to KRON and how many of us know for sure what Vince and Jim are doing at their office in New York. How many of us can make those statements about get over it - it ain't gonna happen.....well we shall see..

Affiliation switches have happend LOTS of times in numerous cities across the country...even some big markets.
NO NETWORK has ever switched back to an affilitate it left.
KNTV has a new building...new equipment (financed of course, by 30-Rock)...spent MILLIONS on advertising...upgrading their transmitter/signal. NBC is there to stay.
There stands a better chance of a local group buying out KRON (hello, KOB?) than NBC going back to "frisco."
PS-No, I don't work for KNTV. But I do have lunch occasionally with sales-types over there...and also with sales types over at KRON. They give me the scoop...and it all shows a long-term commitment to NBC staying in the South Bay. (also, keep your ears tuned to some local groups trying to buy KRON and take a stab at reviving the News Dept.)
