I hope he has a better send off than Kontji got. If you blinked you would have missed it! I did, in fact... Heard about it second hand.
I don't think that's the way to do it when someone has shared a "good" amount of time with an audience. Let's face it, nowadays local news tends to be a revolving door. In my opinion, viewers don't tend to invest their time with people they don't connect with- or know.
