Just completely uninformed. The country is not fine. The economy is not good. We have record deficits which will haunt us for years. Unemployment rate is skewed by the large number of people who are not even looking for work anymore, but don't show up in the stats. Airlines are all about bankrupt. Pensions are being dumped. And Bush is to blame. His policies are disastrous. He will go in the books as the worst President in history. What the first poster is mad about is the fact that our mainstream media is still givin this Bozo a free ride. Nobody questions what he is doing. It is very apparent that the war in Iraq was planned before 9/11. We went in there for WMD, and there were none. But we take it at face value when W says we went there to bring democracy to the Middle East. The conservative media is too concerned about acting like Fox news and playing rah-rah to try to get some ratings. The media used to watch out for the people. Now they are more concerned about what to wear to tonight's cocktail party. |

squidlips, it must be tough getting up every day with such anger, knowing that the brilliant John Kerry would have made this a more perfect world. At least you have the comfort of knowing you can place virtually ALL the blame on one man. Someday it will really suck for you if democracy really does catch a foothold in the Middle East. I used to get worked up when reading the virtually identical rants from all lefties about the evil Bush (might as well throw Tony Blair in there too)and WMD and the deficit and the economy and the ecosystem. Personally, I think all of you just want a moon to howl at. But as Sir Winston Churchill once said "You'll never get where you want to go if you stop to throw rocks at every dog that barks along the way." Lets judge GW in a few years, and maybe you'll be right. I'm betting not.
