The problem I was originally venting about was despite the constant communication...the development of a story and new angles( to be more specific) I am frustrated by the unwillingness of "the powers that be" to accept the idea they had didn't unfold. The story turned out better and more compelling visually...But instead of changing the rundown and teases...I am asked to add an element that doesn't exist. I'm glad most news people aren't like this...but I am dealing with a very small, very young fishbowl. Have some compassion! |

with less vindictive rhetoric and more honest discussion, I see your point! And, I think I can agree with you!
Both you and pro-duce have made valid points and reasonable statements that need to be spoken out loud.
Let a reporter do the job. Soar or fail on their own accord. as long as they are communicating with the desk and the producers, there is no harm, no foul.
