You're living in paradise now, why the hell would you want to leave.
Home prices might be cheaper elsewhere, but look at property taxes and the higher insurance rates. CA beats most states in this. It all evens out in the end.
Don't leave, or your kids will look at you someday and wonder what the hell their parents did to them. There is so much opportunity here, go for it! |

What are you thinking?!
California is a fine place to live, but it's not the be all and end all of places to live and play.
What about Dallas, Atlanta, Denver, Chicago, and all the other places where they have the arts, first run movies, good restaurants, good people, opportunity.
If you really need smog, congestion, crime, high taxes, etc., you can find them in almost every state.
But, get outta town! California might be great but if you're not breaking the bank with every paycheck, it's not all it's cracked up to be. Plus, all the flotsam and jetsom that moves there looking for the next great scam/get rich quick opportunity, who needs it?
Nice place, but by no means the only place!!
Incidentally, living in Hemet and carpooling to LA ain't my idea of a day at the beach.
But you can live fairly cheaply in Colinga.
