The station launched in 2003. WFSB (cbs in Hartford), used to broadcast into Springfield market.
WSHM is also owned by Meredith, but a seperate entity. Different programming than WFSB. Looks like they are starting a local news product too. They have ads on tvjobs for a news director, anchors, reporters, sports people, weekend weather. Says to send your material to Hartford, so perhaps everyone's favorite ND, Lyn Tolin is in on the hiring for WSHM.
