of CNN being "based" in Atlanta (other than it being Ted Turner's roots) was that Georgia is a non-unon state? I work at CNN in NY but my paycheck says Atlanta, GA on it. wasn't the whole point to run a netowrk without having to pay union wages? how will CNN/Klein prove thhat the company is still a Georgai (non-union) operation if so many of the staff will now work out of NY and DC? What dodge and weave will Walton come up with? And what leverage does that give us who draw a lousy (read low) paycheck from CNN right now? |

to assume he didn't have to be based in NYC to run with the Big Dogs. In this satellite age he was quite right.
The new CNN bosses are less secure/megalomaniac.
So NYC it is, despite the union costs of studio help, etc etc etc.
But those CNN bosses are Big Dogs, now. Right?
Where the hell are the stock holders who ask what a dollar's buying? Better TV?
Or just a berth in New Yawk?
